I can't really believe it yet, but it seems my new website (Chill2Music (http://www.chill2music.com)) has been added to DMOZ within 2 days. I submitted it saturday (or maybe yesterday, I can't remember anymore), and it appears it's already listed!
The 13th site on http://www.dmoz.org/Arts/Music/Reviews/.
This is the fastest I've ever gotten into DMOZ :D

That's going to give you a PR6. Good deal.

How, Shawn? I thought it was PR/number of links?

It is, but perhaps Shawn was remembering the Google directory (and all the other places that use DMOZ data).
I've managed to get DMOZ listings in days before, but by far the fastest was about 12 hours (and it was for about 8 submissions).
Just got mine listed here (http://dmoz.org/Games/Gambling/Guides/Reviews/). Relatively few links on the page, should give me a nice slice of PR eventually :)
PS: Chris, did you get my article submission?

Just wondering though, my homepage wasn't listed, but the specific part that relates to that directory (http://www.chill2music.com/reviews).
Should I submit my lyrics part to the lyrics directory, and my news part to the music news directory?

I don't think it'd hurt to try ;)

Yeah, as they are different parts. Chris has loads of listings for his book site, so you should definatly be able to get one for each section. Perhaps a parent category link also.

After a nightmarish time last time I tried, it was sub 48 hours this time, which made me very happy.
When will this give me benefit interms of the backlink(s)? This update (Martini or whatever) or in a month or so's time.
Thanks
Dan

I've had some sites get listed in a couple of days and others that have gone months and still aren't listed.

Yeah, I can find peoples secret sites, but they can find mine... PS: I do not own 1diabetic.com, I'm on shared hosting currently...

I had one listed the morning after submitting it, and another I've submitted 4 times and it never has showed up!
