2008 goals.

What goals do you have for your websites in 2008?

This seems to have become a WP tradition now. :)



I'm still pondering exactly mine, so might edit this, but the slightly-more-realistic-than-last-year goals are:


Get craziness to make by Q4 an average of $5000 a month (its not too far from this at the moment anyway).
To get PhysicsPlanet up and running, and up to $1000 a month, in tribal fusion.
To get one other site on $1000 a month in tribal fusion.
To start to prepare History Empire (if its not that one other site) for launch.

1. Get my sword line launched. Not really a "website goal" perwse but still a goal.

2. Get my nutrition site launched, should happen easily.

3. Get the subscription system for my lit site launched.

4. Get my game site finished.

my only goal is to increase my traffic to over 1000uniques a day

Up until now, I've set my goals in dollar terms.

For 2008 I am switching to a process based goal system. In a general sense this means stripping out the stuff that has not worked well for me while maximizing what has worked best.

The biggest part of this involves getting things done fast. I am making use of freelancers whenever I can, and keeping my work limited to the higher level stuff.

I have a 6 point list written out, but I am keeping it private ;)

- Increase Productivity - through daily/weekly based goals. (Getting a whiteboard specifically for this.)

- Launch numerous sites I have in the planning stages. & Cement market position on current sites

- Get a manageable email system together

- Perfect business models & landing pages

- Kick *** ;D

Focus on what works, rather than what I might fancy working on at the time.

I have a couple of sites that I will be working on, at the expense of others, but with the aim of getting a few high producing sites, rather than many sites that take time to monitor but bring smaller returns

My goals are to continue with phpLD development, while spending a little less time online, and interacting more on the phone.

my goal is to launch 2 of the 3 sites i've been thinking about for quite a while.

I'm going to completely redo my survival site, and make it a survival site. It is going to be powered by drupal and all medical content will be either removed, or reorganized. It will have a huge community aspect where I hope to have a points system for users who give great advice.. maybe badges or whatever.

Pay for an apartment with website income. That's all I want for 2008, then I can look ahead after that.
