On one of my sites, users can submit reviews on various companies and some of them name the people who they feel haven't been very good.

My question is, am I liable for this?

I'm not sure with UK laws but in the US there have been precedents set where the online service provider is not responsible for libel posted through their service.

Well it's a site based on US companies, so I don't know if that makes any difference...

Jurisdiction can be complex. Usually it is where the transgression is committed... but with the Internet physical location isn't always applicable.

If you like, you can just tell people not to respect employee privacy and not post full names.
