Dmoz.org Cool Site

My Ultimate Metal site has been chosen as a 'cool site' in the Dmoz.org Music/Chat_forums section (although it's yet to be updated on their site).

Does Dmoz throw a lot of page rank out? Also, what kind of traffic usually comes through? I understand they also power Google's directory...

This is good news for me - and they're linking directly to the forum, not just the front page, which is good because it has lower PR :)

A "Cool site" listing will not deliver any more PR than a normal listing.

Yes, I know that - I never suggested it would.

But being listed on Dmoz surely would? (I wasn't there before - the editor chose my forum for inclusion).

I never even submitted it. The guy who edits that category chose my site as "an example to other music forum owners" (his words). Eeekers!
