View Full Version : Links From Supplemental Pages
Hi all,
If you have links from supplemental pages, are they as beneficial as links from normal pages? Because they are supplemental, does Google discredit them when they link to other sites?
Thanks,
Mike

sorry for my ignorance, but what exactly do you mean by supplemental pages?
If you do some searches on google, usually using the site: prefix, you'll see supplemental results next to them. This means they are ranked lower than other results (I think).

i still don't know what you mean. I searched this: http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&q=site%3Awebsitepublisher.net&btnG=Search
and i don't see any results next to anything
If you go to page 10 you'll see what I mean...

Pages that are in Supplemental Index by Google where the pages are placed..
Reasons to identify why pages are in supplemental results...
1. Duplicate Content - take someone elses content, get sent to Google Hell (Supplemental Results)
2. No Content - create pages with no content empty pages get sent to Google Hell.
3. Orphaned web pages. Pages that no one links to, including yourself.
Now, on how to get out.
1. If you stole content - change it.
2. If there’s no content - add some.
3. If it’s orphaned - link to it.
If a site have a PR or high PR site are usually not place in supplemental pages...
