Suggestions about two domains

Hello there.

I am currently in the process of choosing domain for my next project. There are two possible candidates:

Domain A - 1 keyword in it, short and easier to remember
Domain B - 2 keywords, longer and relatively not so easy to pronounce

I got suggestions to buy both of them (since it's not so expensive). If I do that which one I should choose for site branding? And what to do with other one?

Any thoughts or suggestions about this..?

The benefits of getting the second name would be:

1. any type in traffic it may bring
2. keeping it from being used by a possible competitor

If the long one is unregistered I would say it definitely makes sense to pick it up as well.
