How often does google update the backward links to a site?

It's been quite frequently recently. But then it could be ages until the next update. Just depends on what Google are upto. These days -- who knows?! :)

I think the last update was sometime in December. Who knows when they'll do it again, but it seems to have been updating more frequently than before.

I think if your site has a higher PR they will crawl it more often
