Im going to register a name and i got a couple options
keywordkeyword.info 1.99
keywordkeyword.net
keywordkeyword.org
the site will be a content site with basic info ... no branding or anything...
NET would be your best choice if COM is not available. INFO is worthless as spammers have taken it over.

Ya, it is a shame about all the .info spam out there. Thats what happens when its sold for cheap.
.org isn't bad, but I'd always go for .net instead.
As people say, .info is a no go these days.

actually buy all 3, but use the .net one and just redirect the others.

so keywordkeyword.net is not available?
Still .net I think
If you have to use a dash, forget about it. Dashes look spammy and are confusing for people to say to each other.
Find differentkeyword.com, it would probably do you better in the long run.

I don't think one dash looks so bad really, it's when you get two or more and it starts to look spammy...
Just buy whatever you can. $2/year will be meaningless if your plans pay off, right?

If you are not going for branding or type in repeat traffic, the hyphen will not be as big of a factor, so I would go with the hyphenated .net over the .org or .info
However as suggested, if possible I would look for an alternative that is available in .com
