Does anyone have a regular vBulletin Customization company or person they use regularly. I have used a couple in the past but find them very unreliable.

http://www.vegasjunky.com is at the stage where I need to improve the design a little bit so I can continue moving things to the next level.

I like to keep my forums pretty standard for ease of upgrading.

What exactly do you want to customize I may be able to assist.

Yeah, your site looks very out-of-the-box vB, which means boring to me and other vB admins. HOWEVER, I've come to find that a lot of people actually like the default look--they seem to find it usable and readable.

How much did you want to spend? If you want a quick change, just buy one of those $30 skins from a place like vbstyles.com or extremepixels.com.

If you want something custom, you'll have to pay more.

And just to make sure--you're talking about cosmetic changes, right? Not hacks and mods?

Yes - I mean the design/colors. I will checkout vbstyles.com. Budget is probably right around $1,000.

But to be honest, I really suggest you ask people here how to best spend that money. I would suggest that you start with an inexpensive make-over (i.e., one of the $30 templates mentioned above), use some for AdWords, and save the rest to see what you need to add later. You might want to consider adding some sort of custom app to your site to lure people back, such as an odds calculator, or something of the sort.

But as always, content is king.

I am willing to invest what it takes to get the site growing more without me posting on a regular basis. I have done some simple experiments with AdWords - over the last four months I have spend $7.35 (0.12 a click) and got 60 clicks. From those 60 clicks, two people have joined. That is 1.67% conversion, what is average?

If I have to put in $1,000 or $10,000 to grow the site I think it will pay long-term.

So do you need a vbulletin customization company which can do php modifications to the actual vbulletin scripts or do you need forum posters to post to your forums and make it grow ?

Not looking to modify PHP Code at all.

Looking for designers and/or posters.
