What the frigg. Indexed Within 24 hours.

I built a few video sites on Jan 1st and put some links to it from my sites. Google has not touched them. I built a new site and it gets indexed within 24 hours and already gets some google traffic. Of course I used a different promotion technique for this site and I am just mad that I didnt think of it before.

What things about google annoy you?

The difference was that I didnt sit around and just put a few links towards my sites on my exsisting sites... I went out and put links on other sites... If you can understand that...

yeah ive done the same and i seem to get traffic alot sooner than just cross linking via my own sites. Its funny how the KISS method works so well.

I understand. Currently, I am trying to promote my site by getting links from others. It is not as easy as I thought it would be.

I once built a new website, did not put any links to it from anywhere, just added it to google's "add url". It was indexed and at no.1 for some keywords within 3 days!

Yup, and people say submitting gets you nothing. I still submit all my my sites, and all sites after major content updates.
