No backlinks from google

I can't see any back links from google. Any idea why?

Because Google only updates its public display of backlinks once every three months or so. So,if your site is new, you have to wait until the next update to see how many they report.

Additionally, Google does not show a complete listnig of your backward links.
I prefer MSN's backward link results.

Yahoo is the best and most accurate for reporting backlinks IMHO. And if you use linkdomain you can get a pretty good idea of the power of those links
