Links to same page

Hi all,

Could someone tell me if it is beneficial to link more than once to the same page, from all pages? Like having four links to your homepage on every page of your site.

i am under the impression that it will not help or hurt to have duplicate links on one page.

It's not beneficial to have more than one link, as far as I know. Google will only count one as far as the PR calcs go.

PR will be passed on only once -- having multiple links won't pass on more PR.
