Some of the most popular hosting companies out there aren't competing on prices. They have a great support and provide a great service to their customers. As long as they do that customers don't mind paying a little bit extra.

The best example is probably: FutureQuest (http://www.futurequest.net/)

Just read their forums to see what their customers think about them. Unbelievable.

Yeah if you want a cheap one, buy one for $15 a year without good support. If you want a good one, get one for $150 a year with everything you need.
