For an article site that has very wordy articles with no obvious images to go with that article I am thinking of adding a random image.
These would be pulled from a set of generally related articles (So a real estate site could have various photos of buildings etc).
This way a few articles could serve a lager number of articles.
Would the fact that they are random, and therefore would change each time that article was viewed, detract from the article. Would it be better to select the image on some set criteria (ie article 1-10 would get image 1, article 11-20 image 2 etc) or set the image to the article at the time the article is created?
