They are just showing public service ones on the forums...
Not everywhere... Look around for a bit. You'll see real ads.

I expect it will take a while for the ads to be served as there're so many threads. They each have to be crawled.

Chris should put some ads for Jalic Hosting on the setting on google where you can choose to have an ad instead of those public service things.

I do too...
At first I thought Chris had added a new feature where you saw the last posted in threads at the top...
It also shows that adsense does work on forums. So far, the ad topics are the same as the forum topic for me.

It's about 50-50 for me. One some topics they're targeted and on some they aren't. I think Google needs to spider the topics first.
Chris, aby traffic numbers for Websitepublisher you're willing to share?

Good traffic...
Have you got adsense on the articles yet?

Yeah, once google's "adword bot" (googlesyndicationbot???) pays a visit, the ads become targeted based on content.

So we will see ads that say get free sex and porn on google because of my status...
The topic of the thread will decide the topic of the ads. A status defo won't.

Maybe if the thread is long, and most of the posts are short phrases. But really it's quite doubtful.

Perhaps it will show some of your google ads...
It won't. I cancelled them a week or so ago, not performing at all.

Well Good Luck :)
I know you haven't had them up long, but how are the adsense ads going for you Chris? Better than you expected?

I can't tell. I run Adsense on like 5 or 6 sites and so I don't know how much any one makes.
Also, since Google recently stopped showing ads for Canadian pharmacies my Adsense earnings from IDDB.org dropped.
Since that changed happened at around the same time I added the ads here the baseline I had before I added the ads here is worthless.

I've put searchfeed ads for "web hosting" as defaults for adsense. The CPC rate is pretty good.

I had to edit this code some.
Chris, the site loads up in the adspace if you click on an ad.

thats a big oops.
It should be fixed.
Hehe... I never tested the code of course because I don't want to get in trouble for clicking my own ads... but then this happens.
