I haven't analyzed Yahoo's ranking system for new sites very much due to the huge delay Yahoo has before beginning to rank a site.
I have a site that ranks well in MSN, fluctuates from time to time, overall great for the past 4 months.
In Yahoo, it took 2.x months to rank and receive some traffic. This is across approximately 110 pages where just about every page is ranked somewhere in the top 100.
This ranking on Yahoo which took about 2 months to obtain lasted for only about 2 weeks. Then the rankings have dissapeared (still indexed).
So my question, for anyone who has paid attention to Yahoo... is this typical? "x" month delay before being ranked.. then only ranking for a week or two (fresh boost), then dropping off? And hopefully come back to some rankings in another few weeks?
Thanks.
