MyBB?

I was at another forum and someone asked the question of "best free forum" and almost everyone there said MyBB is second behind VBulletin.

Anyone used it? It does looks pretty nice, and kinda resembles VB.

Yeah, I had started to build a forum using PunBB which I also understand is quite good....but MyBB looks better and better everytime I look at it. I think I'll use it. Seems from browsing the forums there that it's all good posts. Nothing about a lot of spamming or problems. Seems solid.

I am using myBB, I upgraded from phpBB, I feel it is a lot better amd wilkl grow better over time as more mods are available.

It's about as close as you can get to VB for free. The mods act like WordPress plugins and are easy to install and there are a lot of great mos out there and a lot of customisation.

MyBB contains the majority of standard features that are found in popular bulletin board softwares today and best thing is it's free.
