Got the domain names... now what?

Hi all,

I just bought some domain names and would like to have the website served. What do i need from my web host in order to point to them?

I registered the domain names with namecheap.com. What options do i have to change in the namecheap account in order to point to the webhost?

You need to get the domain name servers from your web host. They will include this in your welcome email 99% of the time.

Look for something about "DNS settings" with namecheap.com.

Normally they are ns1.somehost.com and ns2.somehost.com , but check first.

Are yopu going to use secondary DNS settings? Does namecheap.com offer this service?
