.cc - opinions?

I was buying up some domain names this evening and after searching for a partcular term, it turns out the .cc version is available - I was actually pretty surprised. It's a one word dictionary word - nice and well known.

What are your opinions on a .cc name? Pros, cons, just another name?

They seem pretty budget to me. I tent to trust sites less when they have any domain other than .com or .net, especially .info, and .cc, however, I thnk .us is pretty cool, expcially if you make a cool name. Like de.icio.us.
