I just posted the first market research blog, on a topic I think a lot of people would be interested in... "finding a new niche". Let me know what you guys think.

Excellent post. One approach I've found useful is to build a bunch of niche sites, then go back 6-12 months later and look at your best earners and see what you can do to make them earn even more. In some cases, you might not do anything to the original site but make a new site branching out on a sub-niche or related niche.

Like moonshield says, it would be nice to see one on choosing an affiliate program as well :)

I'm not really sure why that seems so tough.. After you've found your niche, affiliate programs just kinda fall into place for you. There's no real searching involved.

He's dropped a few hints on Sitepoint, but I never figured out what the mortgage site dominating the SERPs was.
