Hello,

So my website is not even 24 hours old, and already in the second day alone received 1000+ ad clicks. :)

The thing is, i've only made $33.68 from these 1000+ clicks (this is adsense btw).

Should I give it a week or two for adsense to set-in, before concluding adsense just isn't the best option to run ads with for my website?

Regards.

How many ads do you have on the one page? Sometimes the more ads you have the less payout you get

hehe, when i used Adense i made about 7 times more then you per click :P

I think you should give adsense a week, but why not try Yahoo?

Hold on - if its less than 24hrs old, how are you in your second day??

Where did all the traffic come from to produce those clicks? Maybe you already have some big sites that you have put links on to your new site?

I think he means in AdSense. He started it at the end of the day, and then the second day started. So not 24 hours, but already gone across two days

Yes, I figured that may well be the case after posting - the question about where the clicks came from still stands though. 1000 clicks means a lot of traffic for the first day.

ALL of my traffic is from a secure line of myspace profiles and bulletins. Traffic has more then triple'd.. and just purchased myself a nice big dedi for this site alone. :)

Shoud be backup within 48 hours i hope.

Well, by saying this you also made yourself look like an *** :P

I think that the same reason you're getting low payout is the reason you're getting so much traffic right off the bat. It could very well be that you just are in a category with low clicks because the market is a very trafficked but saturated one. Therefore, the best you can do is either work at getting higher paying keywords, or getting more clicks with the keywords you currently have.

It all depends on your sites topic.

I use adsense and a few of my sites and then I mainly use CPM networks on the others due to the topic that they are in.
