Hi all,
I have a nice new blog that is getting a following in Nairobi cyber cafes and around. It grew from me sending email to my pals on what is going on around town. The problem is that my mailing list is now over 100 and I cannot keep sending them bcc as some of them do not know each other. What options for emailing my pals and email subscribers can y'all recommend? I need something that is pretty simple as my programing/backend skill is basically non existent
cheers all

Why can't you use BCC? Seems ideal to me for such a small list, and the e-mail address are never shown so there aren't any problems.

Quick question to start. Are you the only one who sends mail out, or can the subscribers send mail to everyone else on the list?
You can always do a loop in PHP and send a new mail to each email on your list.
That way each one will get their own emails.

For a stand alone off web solution you might consider something like the free version of GroupMail:
http://www.group-mail.com/asp/common/downloads.asp
or a web solution Dada Mail (also free):

If you want to spend some money:
www.constantcontact.com
Nice site by the way :)

CC and BCC stand for Carbon Copy and Blind Carbon Copy (respectively).
CC doesn't hide whoever else the email has been sent to; whereas, BCC does (hence 'blind'). Therefore, I see no reason why you couldn't simply continue using BCC.

I would second Dada mail for a small list. works well although needs some concentration to get it working (but no great programming skills)
You could set up multiple groups in Outlook
or how about an email update from your blog - aweber offer a paid service - I have seen a free one (adds ads though). Let me know if this is of interest and I will try and track down the link
