Expired Domains

Hi all,

If a domain has expired, how long until it comes out of "registrar lock" and becomes available to everyone?

I believe it depends on the registrar. I think there is a long grace period though. Like 60 days.

grace period of about 40 days, then they charge you, and its often not until 75 days or more until its released. However, upon being dropped it will probably snagged up immediately.

If its a good domain and you really want it, you have to go with one of the drop sites like pool.com or snapnames. You will never catch it by hand. If more than one person wants it, it will go up for auction. I recall one dropped domain auctioned off for six figures a few months ago.

It's actually my domain. The thing is it's registered with eNom, but they won't let me login and renew it because the domain is expired or something. Anyone know what to do?
