Hi,
Before I upgraded to XP at Christmas, my laptop keyboard wasn't working right, for me anyway. Whenever I tried to type the UK pound sign it typed #, and when I tried typing the @ sign it typed double quotes. There were more like this as well.
For some reason this problem has cropped up again, and I know how to fix it but still get presented with an error.
After going into control panel and onto the language icon, it gives you an option to change the keyboard language. Currently this is set as US, but obviously I want it to be set as UK. So, I try to change it but the following error message comes up:
"Windows could not properly load the English (United Kingdom) keyboard layout"
Does anyone know whats wrong?
Thanks a lot,
Mike:)
