if I remove the last line I get another error

what is the exactly error message?
are you trying that query in phpmyadmin?

Yeah I have had this error before...
Try removing:
ENGINE = MYISAM DEFAULT CHARSET = latin1
or this
DEFAULT CHARSET = latin1
Make sure you leave the semi colon
