I'm sure many of you are probably already using this, but this is for the peope that aren't. This is by far the best list of dir's I've found. This guy Dan manages it and its really kept up-to-date. I used to download the spreadsheet, but now it's live. My sites so far have been accepted into most of the dirs on this list. If anyone else has been using it, how'd it go for you?

Submitting to directories -- one of my least favorite things to do.

I am considering offering a manual directory submission service. If I did, would you use it? Would anyone use it?

A guy who goes by "tuning" at digitalpoint has great recommendations from people who has used his submission service. I have not experience with him myself.

i would use it dpmmedia but i wouldnt be eager to pay until I saw the listings. Anyone can say "sure I will submit you" and then say "oh they didnt accept you".

Yeah that's the problem. I know that some dirs have a waiting list of months. I guess you just have to make sure you trust the person that's doing it. I wouldn't use a service like that unless I knew the person pretty well, so you could be pretty sure you wern't being screwed.
