I have been working on an email verification system, and just saw that gmail is inserting code into the actual text of the email.
The text I send says:
If you did not make this enquiry to
domainname.com then DO NOTHING
Gmail changes this to:
If you did not make this enquiry to
domainname.com<http://domainname.com>then DO NOTHING
The pathetic thing is that the inserted '<http://domainname.com>' fills the single space that was there, so the clickable link runs on to the following 'then' (http://domainname.com/then) and it does not work anyway.
