What are the damages for an infringement? What constitutes an Infringement of a Copyright? :confused:

In the US I believe its $25,000 per incident plus any economic damages.

Copyright infringement is when you copy or make a derivative work from something you do not have the rights to.

The copyright has to be registered to recieve statutory damages otherwise it is just the actual loss incurred from infrindgement. If registered its up to $150,000 plus attorney fees.
