View Full Version : How was your July?

Mine was the best month for a while, and best Adsense month ever.
I'd let my sites slowly sink (in SERPS and earnings). I made some slight changes to my Adsense layouts on two sites, and managed to double my earnings :) Now I'll be rolling the changes out to other sites (new and old) to try and capitilise on this.
(It was basically using their new link block things more effectively!)
How about you?
About 90% of June for me - not very exciting.
Might start having a play with adsense positioning/fomatting now that I have higher adsense stats. I have also never tried the link block things - they really work?

Well, consider that before I used them I was getting around $1-2 a day. Within 2 weeks I went to $10 with no increase in traffic :)
(one site, with a CTR of 25%, making $2-3 a day on 200 uniques)

First month ever without growth in Adsense. Off about 5% from June. Of course, I sold off about 20 websites in June, so I'm thrilled that it showed such a small decline.

June I had a dropoff. July hit an all time high seeing a record 41% increase from June. On top of that, I have 2 sites that are being built, and 2 sites which don't have any ads up yet. To top that, yesterday broke the all time high by $10.

Overall advertising revenue was down maybe 20%, but it was expected.

My July was great! I'm very pleased with how things are going right now. :D

July was the best month ever for me, I doubled what I made last month. I only make roughly $18 but if I keep doubling it, who knows where it will go.

Affiliate revenue up. Adsense remaining miserably flat at around $0.05/click. Dabbling in PPC again. I just can't resist. It almost feels like gambling. "Put money in and see how much it spits out". Let's see where that takes me ;)

Ditt, however mine was down approx 17% in July.
My best month pageview/unique wise for my image hosting sites. :D

Gets a big MEH from me.
Revenue constant
Server costs going up
I havn't done much actual good work in a couple of months so i've only got myself to blame.
Edit: Getting an eCPM of $22 on my Amazon sites from AdSense .

My july was awesome leasure wise, my site was down for the whole month. I went to meet with relatives in NY which was awesome, then went to Lake George, rented a cottage on mottain top, awesome view! went parasailing for the first time, and went horse back riding for the first time, in all it was an awesome july. And this month is going to be awesome website wise because I am very motivated and working pretty hard.

I doubled my pathetic monthly profits and got $40.00 in July.
It'll be nice when I start a few more sites, and muliply that by 100(0[0{0<0>}])...

Yeah, me too :) It's been months since I even cracked $200 (took me a year to get that far!). Hopefully this month will be $300, and I can have that consistent by the end of the year.

Personally, I think I set my goals too high with each bump I get. I was originally shooting for $20.00 per month. Now I'm shooting for $1000.00
Good luck getting that consistent $300.00, Mark.

I hit the $300 mark already :) Wee!
(FWIW, Amazon is killing this month, compared to previous months)
You've hit $300 already in August? Great stuff, should be looking at making nearly $500 this month :)

My July was crap, but august has been better, especially Amazon with my TV revenue.
July is traditionally my worst month though.
Ecommerce is also suprisingly up this month.

I have made the most from "ecommerce". It is actually membership fees but I guess it could be classed as that.
Server fees have hit an all time high of $2,306 US.

Wow, that's pretty damn high.

Price i've got to pay for room to grow. :)
My August isn't doing well at all. I've been trying to justify it by saying it's because my main site is the Strange Facts one and most people look at it while at work and they are all taking vacations. I hope I'm right. It should also pick up when school starts back up too.
