Why Google crawl some sites more often

My sites used to be crawled very often by Google, but now it barely crawls my site. however, msn and inktomi still crawls my sites very often, much more than Google.

Are there ways to make Google crawl my site or any sites more often?

Generally having more incoming links and regularly updating your content will help you to get crawled more often.

Any reason you particularly need them to crawl more often?

Unless your content keeps updating there's no need for htem to keep crawling the same pages over and over.

If they crawled you and now you are in SERPS results and no content is new then really there is no need to recrawl is there?
