Would Google consider these 2 the same and not split PR?
http://www.x.com/dir
http://www.x.com/dir/

Which one should I hard code in my html, with or without the "/"?

Would it hurt if I hard coded without "/"?

Hardcode with, as that is more appropriate. Google shouldn't split PR.

has google cleared teh "www" subdomain problem up? My sites are showing the same Pagerank for with and without... same with my backlinks!

Issues like you refer to were never 100%. Some people would be fine and others wouldn't.

Should I do the same for the domain name too?

http://www.lemons.com/
instead of
http://www.lemons.com

Or it doesn't matter for domain name?

Doesn't matter.

With the directories it is simply a matter of standards or tradition.
