Does anyone recommend a program that allows multiple users access to different webpages? i.e. secure webpage X is viewed by user A but not user B.

Hotscripts.com should have plenty of login scripts that you could use.

you can do it with your htaccess i think.

Yeah, you can use htaccess to do it. The script has to change the htaccess file directly though. I know this script can be downloaded somewhere because I've used it.

Sitepoint also have a pretty good user authentification tutorial by Kevin Yank that you can use. I think it's been updated a few times to make it more secure / better for newer php versions etc.
