I can't even tell if this bloody thing includes Cananada or not... Abbotsford'll win regardless, though :D
I just saw this mentioned last night on the Daily Show;
I still have no idea what's going on

lol... All you foreigners crack me up! (just kidding ;) )
He's talking about March Madness. The US College Basketball championship tournament (hence the "brackets") that happens each year in March.

Its a college basketball tournament. I'm a mile away from Michigan State so obviously I root for them. They're one of the better teams, perennial appearances in the tournament.

Yeah, "hence the brackets" isn't making much sense to me.
Abby's still going to win, though. GO CANANADA!

Damnit,
I thought you were referring to something like
the "Shopping march madness" I didn't knew about.
Got me all excited, and it turns out to be a basketball competition :D

Don't worry Joachim, who watches NCAA anyways?
Chris

I do, I don't like pro sports but I watch college football and basketball. Something nicer about it when you know they're not making millions even when they fail.

I 100% agree. I love watching college football and I'm starting to get more into college basketball. I could care less about watching the spoiled brats in the pros.

i dont like college football because of the skill factor, but I do like college basketball because its more a team effort then in pro. Pro football is my favorite sport though I do like a bit of NASCAR racing.

James, I'm with you on the kickboxing and Ong Bak. What do you watch, K-1?
EDIT: Do you do any kind of kickboxing or are you just a fan?

I used to go to the Golden Dragon Thai Boxing place they had down here near my school, but they packed up and moved to Vancouver and I was diagnosed (by my doctor, a physiotherapist, and an orthodontist [the feet doctor people]) with Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome.... Sad. I'm not sure if there was any specific kind that I was learning. And I wasn't in it for long--I was just about to get upgraded from the first belt.
But I did enjoy it, and wish I still could do it.
I just watch videos I download online, and watch it on TV whenever I see it. I'm not a die-hard fan, but I do enjoy it.
Man, Ong Bak was awesome--can't wait to buy the DVD :D

Yeah, Ong Bak was awesome!
Sorry to hear that you can't train anymore. Were you injured in training, or was it just one of those things that happens?
I used to compete in Tae Kwon Do. It had a very limiting set of rules (No direct face shots, no leg kicks...) I'll be starting at a Muay Thai place soon. I'm 26 now, so it'll be interesting to see if I can still hang like I could at 19.
Sorry to get so off-topic!
James

Hah we sure have gone off-topic.
I wasn't injured in training; rather, I have a bunch of things that have contributed to PFPS. A couple are: the muscle in the arch of my foot doing too much and therefore causing my legs muscles to be odd; therefore, my inner-thigh is weaker than my outer, and I need to excercise using things like swimming, walking, biking, and basically everything that isn't running around and jogging or kicking, and also some stretches and light-weight things I can do at home. The result of these factors is that my Patella (knee) rubs up against my femur (thigh bone) and grinds up the carteledge real nice. It hurts quite a bit.
[back on-topic]
Who are a few of the top teams competing in March madness?
moonshield

UNC. Duke. Wake Forest. Louisville. Those are the top in my opinion.

You forgot Oklahoma State! I'm sure this was just an honest mistake on your part, so I'll let it slide. ;)
EDIT: Also, I think the Mississippi Muddogs could go all the way!
