Looks like the assessor has been increasing my home value by 2% every year. I know this is the max and they can do that. I looked at neighbors houses and looks like everyone is getting this same assessment. Is this just life? Is there a way to protest this? I'm gonna have to make more money to pay these damned taxes at this rate.

Unfortunately, in this world, every year any service or product, as well as real estate, become more expensive and this cannot be avoided if you do not have any benefits and indulgences. You can also consult on this topic with tenants or people who provide mortgages for housing. In any unclear situation, I always consult with my friend who works at Mortgage Advisor London (https://Londonmoneyman.com). He helps me deal with apartment payments and gives me tips on how to avoid an increase in housing prices. Perhaps if you also find a person who will advise you on this topic and you can also find a way to avoid paying taxes much higher than you want. I really hope that you will succeed, because paying high taxes just sucks.
