Blogging Software PHP/MySQL

Hi Folks.

I know some of you run blogging sites. We're thinking of launching a trade/situation specific blogging site (driven by knowing one person in that trade who claims funny situations happen all the time and could make great reading) ... I want to set the site up so that if others in her trade also want to setup similar blogs they can.

FYI the trade/situation is nothing sordid :) (in case you were about to ask!)

So.. My question is :- is there a free PHP/MySQL based multi user blogging solution available anywhere that'd be a reasonably basis for such a site?

i recommend wordpress also. easy to use, install, and a barrel of features.

My fav is nucleusCMS (http://www.nucleuscms.org/). I like it way better than wordpress.

Thanks very much everyone - really appreciate the tips. Wordpress does look excellent. I also just noticed they have a Wordpress Mu [multi user], which looks absolutely ideal..
