Does anyone know of any desktop calendar programs? Something where I could write in goals for everyday and keep track of things like that?

Interesting you should ask about that. I just today got an email from 37signals.com saying they've released a "things to do" prog. I haven't checked it out at all, but it might be what you're looking for. http://www.tadalist.com/

Outlook calendar and todo's is quite good (you can copy todos into the calendar)
