Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people's (or company's) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.
Search engine marketing is the process of promoting your website in various search engines to build its popularity and reputation. Search engine optimization and social media optimization are two major processes used for search engine marketing.

Affiliate marketing means you're selling someone else's product and rewarded by owner. Search engine marketing (SEM) is a form of Internet marketing that involves the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) primarily through paid advertising.
