Amazon is down?!

I never thought I would see this but right now amazon is down and the only thing displayed on the page is "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable ". I bet a lot of affiliates are losing a lot of potenital sales right now. I am wondering what the problem is.

its working fine for me now to r2. It has been up and down for me though throughout the day.

When I wrote the first post, amazon.com was down for some 15 minutes already. I would really really like to know what went wrong. Taking a huge site like amazon down would probably have to be something serious.

im actually surprised how often the amazon website goes down. But it doesnt ever stay down long.
