Bounce rate is a website traffic metric that shows the percentage of visitors who left the website while visiting only one page. It includes all website visitors who left (bounced) the website while not doing any other interaction such as clicking on the menu tabs, CTA buttons, or on any other clickable part.

Bounce rate refers to the percentage of visitors that leave your website (or “bounce” back to the search results or referring website) after viewing only one page on your site

Hi Friends,
Bounce rate is the percentage of site visits that are single-page sessions, with the visitor leaving without viewing a second page. It is typically used as a measurement of a website’s overall engagement.

As a rule of thumb, a bounce rate in the range of 26 to 40 percent is excellent. 41 to 55 percent is roughly average. 56 to 70 percent is higher than average, but may not be cause for alarm depending on the website. Anything over 70 percent is disappointing for everything outside of blogs, news, events, etc.

A bounce rate is a metric that measures a percentage of people who enter your website and then leave without looking (scrolling or clicking) through the rest of the website.
