Hi Friend,
Page Speed means the loading time of a webpage or in simple words it means that the time taken to open a webpage. HubSpot considers the ideal page load speed for your website's HTML to be less than 1.5 seconds. As it is very important factor for Website optimization.

Page speed is literally how fast your page (or website) loads. It is important because a slow loading page creates a bad user experience, which generally results in the user hitting the back button, creating a bounce.

Page Speed is the time it takes for the webpage to load.
And yes pages that load faster are liked by users.
Users don't like waiting to consume content.
Page Speed also decides the rank you get on SERPs.
This is the reason why page speed is important.
