Link Exchanging ?

When your are emailing people to link exchange with do u keep a log file or anything of websites u send out emails to ? Whats the best way to manage this.

Just use a text file or excel sheet.

List the websites and emails of people you've contacted. Then enter whether they've got back to you, whether they turned you down, or accepted your link exchange. Also write down the date of when you contacted them.

I use my Links Assistant program. Nothing fancy, but it's free.

I also suggest using excel sheet.
I record the url of site, contact info, date, PR of site, site category, other contact options (if the first contact fails), I also note down whether they already have established links exchange system and partners.
