An Ad group is a set of multiple Ads which target the same set of keywords every time you trigger an ad. This is also known as CPC(Cost per click) you can also set prices for individual keywords within an ad group

An ad group contains one or more ads that share similar targets. You set a bid, or price, to be used when an ad group's keywords trigger an ad to appear.

An ad group contains a set of keywords and ads that are related to a common theme. Not only do they make it easier to manage related ads and keywords, well-organised ad groups make your ads more relevant to users' searches.
