Exit surveys can be used to reduce bounce rates by setting up an action plan.
1. Categorize the problems
2. Discover the biggest issues
3. Make improvements to the specific pages -A/B test the improvements when your website is big enough-
4. Keep an eye on the results!

Bounce Rate = Bounces / Entrances.
Exit Rate = Exits / Page Views.
For search engines, what is more important is the visitor's “dwell time” – the actual time spent on a web page by visitor.
