Impressions:- An impression is a view. When your ad loads and displays in front of a user, that is one impression.
Clicks:- Now for clicks. A click, simply enough, is whenever a user actually clicks on your ads. This is a bit more involved, however.

When your ad loads and displays in front of a user, that is one impression. ... Well, you can't have clicks without impressions. Users need to see your ads before they can decide whether or not to click them. This is typically referred to as CPM, or Cost Per Mille, where Mille means thousand.

impression arewhen you ad or website is displayed to a users search qiery be it in adwords organically or elsewhere.
Click is when the user engages with that impression. These are two very important metrics the firs tell you you what queries you are showing up for or how often the said item is being shown and the second will allow you to produce a ctr click through ratio ( this is a very important metric as it will tell you how relevant your snippet is )

When you are using paid advertising your advert will be shown a number of times depending on how much you have paid.

Clicks is the number of times user clicked on your ad.

Impressions is the number of times your ad was displayed to user.
