Hi all,

It seems everyone is working on many sites at once and owns many sites also :)

Where do you get your information from? Obviously with the large amount of sites people have and how diverse some of the information is, just how exactly do you get the content?

I am guessing most do not sit there and write this themselves so where are you getting it from? Are you getting it from other sites and re-wording? Are there some resources i can use?

I usually write all of mine, or just pay someone else to do it.

I write mine and also have a team of like minded people that help me do it.

Depends. Datafeeds, public domain places, some I've written, some I've paid for.

Public domain--and searching for more public domain jokes if anyone has them!
For my new blog (http://toolazytoblog.com) I'll be writing all the content. It's not one of the big ones like Ensight (http://ensight.org).

For future sites both me and my staff are writing them. Maybe we'll get some syndicate content from other sites and hopefully we'll get some submissions.

i let folks use my content, all I ask is that they give me a link for the usage. Last count we had a few thousand movie news articles. So i guess waht im saying is PARTNERSHIP is a great way to get content to. :)

There is some stuff both Michael and I think is public domain we have taken for our sites that might not be.

I get my content from the words scrawled on the walls of public restrooms

Wikipedia.org and Gutenberg.net are GREAT sources for content.
