Does anyone else have Windows Media Player 10? If you dont have I really recommend you download it. It is so much better then the previous versions, I think it is better then iTunes..
and no I do not work for Microsoft

1. the interface has improved and now is more streamlined... it looks better.
2. mp3 ripping is now enabled by default :)
3. The library is much more robust and faster for my large collection
4. CDs seem to burn faster
5. I like the new radio features
6. supposedly 'more secure'
7. it works well

can you use playlists with Divx? Does Divx have a media library?
That was what kept me away from winamp(which i used to use) I found how useful a media library is. WinAmp 3 has a horrible media library

I guess I don't watch movies like you do.
Also, I listen to music from playlists in Winamp.
Don't try to convince me. I'm far too stubborn.

I hope they fixed the http/mime referrer issue in this release.

This thread is so old, that they have an even newer version available. It works great for playing DVD's though I have never used it for audio as I am loyal to iTunes.

I always will use iTunes because of my iPod. I think it runs a lot fater on my mac than it does on PC.
