View Full Version : AWS traffic waaaay down!!!!

I've been steadily growing up to about 40,000 uniques for my AWS stores last month, but this month I'm at only 10,000. anyone having similar issues? my sites are clean and fairly unique, anyone have any ideas what may be worng? I'm hoping it's just a temporary drop, but it sure hurts to watch that traffic disappear.

is it a standalone aws shop or content-page + aws shop combined?
my aws traffic is ok

Pretty much straight AWS. However, I've tweaked 90% of all the code so they are more unique than most AWS stores.

Anyway, my AWS store is doing well this month.

every month my traffic goes up, but i work VERY hard at it. AWS is a very small section of my site, so people come for the content which is plentiful and updated daily many times.

MY aws performance has never been high

Agreed. If it is standalone AWS, it can't be unique anyway.

To a person you are probably correct, but I can assure you that the spiders do not see my AWS sites as duplicate content.

Same as mark. Link exchanges with relevant sites REALLY brings up the pages google indexes...

My vampire site has seen a bit less traffic from search engines compared to last month - which is strange becauase I recently did some SEO to it and have been adding content.

Nope it's only gotten worse. I made $2500+ in Sept, made about $300 in Oct.

Do you have an idea why you got penalized from Google?
Do you mind to share your shops url?
