Both are best on their own place. PPC generates leads faster than SEO while SEO will stay for a long time giving stable results.

What i prefer is SEO as it gives organic results. it is slow process but worth. i also go for paid campaign when needed but its rare. SEO is free while You have to pay for PPC.
