The top results in google for mortgages all seem to be UK sites, is this country targetting or just coinsidence?

Its not all about PR, but if his site is PR5 and mine is PR8 I don't think a link exchange would be fair...

How can you definitely tell its going to be a Pr8? Do you have an agreement with google, you cant definitely know it is going to be a PR8. I wish I could tell the future :D

Based on history and published papers, people have calculated Google's algo and can estimate the future PR of a page based on backlinks' PRs.
