I see a lot of people have sites dedicated to MSN emotions. How much do they earn of it and how ?
Sean , Mike , anyone ?

It's just like any other site on any topic. Get traffic, get targetted ads, and you're set. I hope this thread doesn't rank well in google like one of the last threads about this.

Well, it wasn't really about the exact same thing, I think, but when using google to search for those special words you wrote in the title the thread came up on the first or second page of results.

I think chris would love me for doing it :)
I'm not quite sure how I got traffic. Within a week or so I was getting 275 uniques a day, without even being in google. That was from no promotional work.
To be honest I don't think there is any room in the market anymore. I started when there were about one or two sites on the topic. Now there's loads, and that's why my earnings have dropped so much over the last two months.

yes the market is hard at the moment and google enjoys screwing with the results. its also on the downside. in january wordtracker listed 45k+ per 2months. now it cant even get 30k, and its still falling, so its hard and getting harder to get visitors. with the market like it is at the moment i think getting 500uniques a day would be my target for a new site coming into the keyword, if you got on the front page of google. from what i remember of not being on the front page your lucky to get 200-300 uniques.
yea the azoogle smiley central's are $0.75 per download, and that's really the only option. getting adsense to work right is almost impossible!
I think I may sell my site soon.

Both of them?
Probably, I can't be bothered with them anymore. I'm just making big content sites now, they were good for short term income I suppose.

I'm going to be doing more ad-reselling than site making from now on, it brings in far more - As soon as I've made all the graphics I need I'm starting a campaign on fastclick.
